Now it’s time to record the voiceovers for your show. Make sure all your recordings are in mp3
audio format.

Station ID’s are used to inform listeners what station they are listening to. They are usually
voiced in a fun and upbeat way.

YOUR TASK

1. Have each individual in your radio team record each of the following station ID’s. They
can use their own style, but they need to make sure they convey a sense of fun in their
recording.

a) ‘YOU’RE LISTENING TO LIVE FM’

b) ‘THE VOICE OF THE NEXT-GEN ACROSS THE GLOBE – YOU’RE LISTENING TO LIVE FM’

c) ‘ACROSS OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD AND ACROSS THE WORLD – YOU’RE LISTENING TO
LIVE FM’

2. As a group, record the same station ID’s, and have some fun doing it.

SEND THE BEST VOICEOVERS TO LIVE FM

As a group select the best two versions of each voiceover. These versions will be sent to LIVE
FM’s production team for mixing with music.
