MESSAGE FROM THE

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Hi everyone Ralph Barba here from Making Media Australia and the LIVE FM radio network.

Congratulations you have been selected to be part of the LIVE FM team given the task of
broadcasting radio shows live from the Catholic Leadership Centre in Melbourne during
Catholic Education Week in March.

It is an exciting challenge where you and your radio team, will co-host a one-hour live radio
show telling the world how good your school is, that will be broadcast across your
neighbourhood and the world on global radio station LIVE FM.

During this experience you will learn how to produce and host a live radio show, as well as
how to how to conduct great interviews with special guests, who you will invite from your
school community. You will also learn how to promote your show to an audience who you will
target. How good is that?

But that’s not all…your show will also be filmed and photographed, as its happening, and then,
at the end of your live experience, your show will be converted into a podcast for you, your
family and friends to listen to later.

It’s a massive challenge but don’t worry the LIVE FM broadcast team is here to help you all
the way.

This resource will give you all you need to know to produce a professional show, that you will
be proud of, and people will want to listen to.
