PROPOSED CONTENT

GEELONG LIVE will provide participating students with an empowering opportunity
to form a modern narrative of 21st century Geelong, and broadcast it to the world.

It is a media platform where they are given the opportunity to explore issues and themes they
are passionate about, and impact their generation.

These issues and themes include…

• Cultural diversity
• Gender equality and respect for women
• Climate change
• LGBTQI in the 21st century
• Mental health
• Family
• Youth issues
• Health and well-being
• Self-worth and identity
• Lifestyle and relationships
• Technology and innovation
• The 21st century workforce – what does it look like?
• Respect in the modern world
• What a 21st century citizen looks like...and more.

Students will address these issues through in-depth interviews with high profile experts and
thought leaders in their community and beyond.

Where possible Geelong Grammar School alumnae, and its international schools networks, will
be invited to be part of GEELONG LIVE community broadcasts, and live student forums, feature
stories, discussions and debates.

High profile local and international guests will also be invited to share their stories on
GEELONG LIVE.
