Hello DreamsNowReality and welcome to Rocknation. Congrats to your band on the release of your album “DREAMFINITY
Deluxe Edition” on Perris Records. How long has the band has been together and how did you form the band?
It’s an honor to be interviewed by RN and to join the PERRIS family, thus we would like to start with saying thank you! The band was
founded in 2008 in Italy. The project was aimed to unite western and eastern styles, to become a combination between the classic hard
rock made in the USA and J-Rock/Visual Kei music. It was not easy to put these components together in this project with such ambitions,
but after 9 years of making music, going through ups and downs, we are still here! We really want to do our best and keep on surprising
you!
You have 3 bonus tracks please name them and what they are about.
Let’s start with the funniest one – “Wasted by dawn” is a song telling about a typical after party. It was written after a tour in Japan, there
was this post concert atmosphere and we were hanging out all night long. We wanted to share the joy of being together. While listening to
this song you will feel the atmosphere of Rock Shuffle in Motley Crue style. “Make me yours” is surely the heaviest song among three. It’s
about a tormented relationship with a girl. We usually hear songs where the man leads the woman, but through the lyrics of the song we
see the opposite thing happening. You surrender to love, to be taken to a new world. If we should describe this song’s mood we would say
you can resume it with the initial single frantic riff. If you follow the band since the beginning of its journey you already know perfectly that
“Follow me my love” is one of our acoustic songs. We have also shot a music video for it and we wanted to take a chance to record it in
its original version as it was initially designed with no cuts. We pass from the piano intro to the special with the orchestra through different
rhythmical changes and atmosphere, with its durations of almost 5 minutes, an inconceivable duration for today’s 3 min 30 sec radio edit
style rock songs. Why having limits?
If you had to tell someone what your music sounded like, what bands would you mention?
In our case it’s really hard to be labeled. On the one hand we can be considered as a hard rock band because of the vocals, just like
Def Leppard, Skid Row, Bon Jovi, etc. On the other hand, as you may have noticed, there are various Japanese contaminations, so it’s
fair to mention such bands as X-Japan, Luna Sea, D’espairs Ray, Nightmare and so on.
Please tell us about where the band has played concerts and other bands have you appeared with.
We were lucky to perform our concerts almost everywhere - in Europe, East Europe and even Asia, but unfortunately we have never been
to the USA. We hope this is going to change very soon! For the moment the biggest event we took part in was Vrock 2011, at the Saitama
Super Arena in Japan. We were honored to share the stage with more famous Japanese bands and also overseas bands such as Michael
Monroe’s one, Alice Nine, Versailles, Black Veil Brides, etc.
