A Quiet and Relaxing Place
David Beaulieu and his fiancée have been living in
Middlesex County for two and half years. He is originally
from Scarborough, Ontario, and before moving to Middlesex,
lived in London, Ontario for about two years. David works as
a senior operator at the Glencoe Cooper Standard Automotive
facility. He fell in love with the quietness and the beauty of
the Middlesex region and decided to make it his new home
after only one visit.
David thinks Middlesex County is a very tight knit
community. He was blown away by how helpful
everyone has been, and he still remembers when he was first
renovating his house how he was amazed by the number
of neighbours who came over to offer help. To him and his
fiancée, people in the area are very personable and open,
whether as new neighbours or as prospective business
clients.
Living in Middlesex County is affordable. David was
able to buy his dream house because of the lower
prices compared to the other areas he used to live in, and he
describes prices as “competitive”. David thinks that the area
has access to everything his family needs. He lives in walking distance from two grocery stores, a
pharmacy, a doctor’s office and can drive to the hospital in 10 minutes. Moreover, there are many
outdoor and indoor places to practice his hobbies, especially sports, during winter and summer.
David considers finding work in Middlesex County less challenging than in other places. David
found his job at the Cooper Standard Automotive site in
Southwest Middlesex by just walking into the facility
and asking for a suitable job. He emphasized that “if
you are willing to do hard work, it will be easy to find a
job.”
Moving can be an exciting, life changing time
but choosing the right place can have a powerful effect
on your life after you’ve settled in. To David, moving
and working in Middlesex County decreased his stress
level dramatically. He is in the best shape of his life
mentally, physically and emotionally and has never
been happier.
