     9.) CARPENTER SET THE TONE FOR THE KIWIS
 AND THE TOURNAMENT
 One of the biggest questions heading into the 2023 World Cup was how Zealand would fare under the pressure of hosting a World Cup. In the tournament opener, they answered that question quite clearly with Hannah Wilkinson scoring the go-ahead goal for the Kiwis in their 1-0 win over Norway. After
five tournament appearances, the Kiwis had earned their first-ever win in front of a packed home crowd in front of 42,137.
