At Divine Savior Academy, our teachers and administrators are special. They have dedicated their lives to Christian education, and it shows in everything they do. From high academic standards to proactive communication with parents to the individualized attention they give each student, our teachers demonstrate their dedication every day.
Our teachers tailor their instruction to challenge each student, not a class average, by encouraging, engaging, and motivating students to use their unique abilities and talents. Our faculty believes in providing a complete education, one that addresses each area of a student’s development: spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and academic.
In order to ensure excellence in education in our academy, every homeroom teacher possesses a degree in education, a Florida state teaching license, and a certification through the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod in Christian education. Because
we are growth-minded, our teachers are continuously trained.
All of our teachers participate in weekly Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and attend teachers’ conferences, continuing education classes, and professional growth opportunities every year. Furthermore, 56% of our teachers have received or are pursuing advanced degrees.
