                     MARKETING

Every yearbook program is ultimately a business, with the
yearbook staff creating and marketing a product for the school
community to purchase and enjoy. This business process is unlike

anything offered by other school classes and clubs, and the experience
students gain will serve them well in their future careers.

There are a number of ways to market your publication to your school

community. And while the business of yearbook is not necessarily all
about profit, focus on marketing can be key to the program’s success.

Following a well-structured marketing plan allows easy-to-execute sales
that at the same time minimize loss and allow the yearbook program
                      to grow.
