WHY ARE THEY
CHASING US?
Track is the most versatile sport at
Humphreys, with tons of events to put work
into. Having the largest team out of all of the
sports at HHS, Track and Field is the starting
point for many Blackhawk athletes.
Customer is allowed to have objects outside of the margin.
The Humphrey's Track and Field season was
definitely short lived but that doesn't mean they
didn't perform well. In fact, they outperformed
everyone. The throwing team for both girls and
boys came in the top five in every meet! The
runners also worked extremely hard throughout
the season and climbed to the top of the ranking
with every meet. No part of track is easy, whether
it be running, jumping, or throwing, but the
Humphrey's Track team proved themselves by
breaking personal records, school records, and

qualifying for Far East! Ethan Elliot, broke his own Anayah Reyes, 11, runs 100 meter hurdles,
his school record from last year for Boys Shot Put placing 1st and getting her personal best of
17.1 seconds. Anayah ran in 4 different
and Discus; while Sabra Wrightsil broke the Girls events and out performed all other athletes!

overwhelmingly won the KAIAC Championships
with over 100 points ahead of the second place
the board! Now the Blackhawks train tirelessly to
prepare for Far East since they have 30 qualifiers
and 29 travelers!

and qualified for Far East.
RUN TO ACHIEVE //
1. Emmanuel Lawson, 10 jumps for long jump. He had
a great season finishing with a 5.83 meter jump before
unfortunately being injured.
2. Devonte Saroglou, 12, and Anayah Reyes, 11, lead
the teams warm up laps before an intense and high
energy track-meet against KAIAC and the DoDEA
schools in South Korea.
3. Cyan Utley, 12, winds up and throws a powerful shot
