According to the res. Heren 17 of 24.4.1790 the chambers were on this date in arrears of fl 6,551,777 in shipments, fl 2,961,083 of this
amount on account of the Zeeland chamber. After 1790 it became more and more difficult to meet the demands, and several times the
Heren 17 decided that the chambers would not have to pay their full share. The following amounts were therefore not shipped: fl 1,322,136
in silver bars destined for Bengal, fl 700,000 in gold bars destined for Ceylon and fl 285,332 destined for the Cape of Good Hope. In

from the Holland and Westfrisian mints.
After 1790 no more moneys were allocated for shipment to the Cape.
