Resolution No. 744 series of 2018, Dr. Dugyon was appointed as the new President of
IFSU effective June 2, 2018 to June 1, 2022.
During her first months, Dr. Dugyon convened the IFSU officials and stakeholders
and crafted the 8-Year Development Plan (2018–2026); the 8-Year Strategic Plan
outlined the new vision, mission and goals of the University. Aside from this, a new
organizational structure was approved by the BOR.
Currently, IFSU has six campuses, namely: Lamut (Main); Lagawe; Hapao; Potia;
Aguinaldo and Tinoc.
IFSU Potia Campus is formerly known as Potia National Agricultural School
located in Potia, Alfonso Lista Ifugao. Before, it has only two (2) departments, the
department of Education and the Department of Agriculture. One of the courses offered
in the department of Agriculture is BS Home Technology and because of the decreasing
number of enrollees in the BS Home Technology course, the administration decided to
not to offer the course and offer new program which is the BS Hotel and Restaurant
Management on March 2, 2005 with the Resolution No. 753 Series of 2005. On May 23,
2006, the implementation of the ladderized curricula in Bachelor of Hotel and Restaurant
Management (BHRM) was approved with its Resolution No. 815 Series of 2006 effective
2006-2007 and Resolution No. 890 Series of 2008 approved the revision of the ladderized
Bachelor in Hotel & Restaurant Management (BHRM Curriculum) with the integration of
On the Job Training (OJT) and giving of Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management
for implementation effective S.Y. 2009-2009.
Another changes is in the curriculum is in March 12, 2013, the Resolution No. 265
S. 2013 “Resolved to Approved the Amalgamated curriculum of Bachelor of Science in

Hotel and Restaurant Management (BSHRM) Effective 1 semester 2013-2014 with its
Policy Guidelines No. 31-2013 and uses the CMO 30 S. 2006 and CHSI was renamed
and became College of Industry Technology and Criminology (CITC) with the courses BS
Information Technology, BS Computer Engineering, Associate in Computer Technology,
BS Hotel and Restaurant Management, Seafarer Rating Course and BS Criminology. In
2016 CITC became College of Business and Management (CBM) with the courses
BSHRM now BSHM and SRC.
A remarkable changes in the curriculum was again made when K to 12 program
was implemented where Kindergarten and 12 years of basic education (six years of
primary education, four years Junior High School and two years of Senior High School so
there is a need to revise and update the current BSHRM Curricula and turn BSHRM into
BS Hospitality Management as per CHED Memo No. 62 S. 2017 Effective S. Y. 2018-
