SAMPLE ANSWER
It was during the summer of 2009 when my friend and I were traveling in Venice,
Italy. We were running all around the city taking pictures. The weather was so
pleasant and the scenery was so stunning that we lost track of where we were
going. We did not even realize we were lost until dusk, when we stopped to rest.
Since Venice is a small city with a lot of small alleyways and not many street lights,
we started to feel worried as the sky turned darker and darker. We tried to use the
map to locate our place but it was so complicated. We looked around but we didn’t
see anybody, there weren’t any direction signs either.
Fortunately, when we were starting to lose our patience and about to give up, we
found a policeman. Although his English was not very good, he helped us find our
hotel and showed us the way back. After thirty minutes of walking, we safely
arrived at our hotel and felt completely relieved. Thankfully, we did not have to
spend the night out on the street that day.
