Describe your MSM Experience

Morehouse School of Medicine's focus on community centered
care was the biggest draw for me given my interest in Public
Health. MSM has been challenging, but rewarding, I put off
applying for 6 years until I had to make a definitive career
choice and am glad MSM is helping me facilitate this new
transition.

Career Plans

I intend to practice medicine and help improve public policies
as it relates to minority groups in this country and around the
world.

Why MSM

I chose Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) to learn in an
environment where I felt comfortable being myself and joining the
school's family-oriented culture.

Describe your MSM Experience

The curriculum though challenging at times, has deepened my love of
medicine by filling in the gaps of knowledge I have accumulated
throughout my six years in the medical field. Being able to anticipate
what the doctor will do or prescribe is one thing, but understanding the
anatomy, physiology, and reasoning behind it is eye-opening. I am
looking forward to continuing down this path and learning the most I
can to better serve the people who will be under my care one day.

Words of Gratitude
Thank you so very much for helping me make this dream of mine come
true. Thanks to you, some of that debt burden has been lifted off of
me, allowing me to focus less on finances and more on becoming the
best doctor I can be. I was raised to be a conduit when receiving
blessings, and I promise that when my schooling and training are
complete, I will pass on the blessings you have bestowed upon me.
