               She is a graduate of Smith College (A.B. ’76, Gov-
               ernment (High Honors)) and Harvard Law School
               (J.D. ’79).



                            JIM WALDEN, managing partner of
                            Walden Macht & Haran LLP, is a vet-
                            eran litigator who has served clients
                            in  high-profile  and  complex  matters
                            throughout  his  career.  In  criminal,
                            civil, and regulatory matters, Jim has
                            consistently developed thoughtful,
               multi-tiered strategies to advance his clients’ goals.

               Since its launch in February 2015, WMH has grown
               from six to more than 30 attorneys and staff, and
               boasts blue-chip, global clientele. Prior to launch-
               ing WMH, Jim was a partner with Gibson Dunn &
               Crutcher for nine years, where he co-chaired the
               firm’s white-collar defense and investigations prac-
               tice group. From 1993 to 2002, Jim served as an
               Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of
               NY, where he successfully tried over 20 felony cas-
               es, including complex racketeering trials, and won
               various  commendations,  including  the “Director’s
               Award for Superior Performance as an Assistant
               U.S. Attorney” and the Federal Law Enforcement
               Foundation’s “Prosecutor  of  the  Year.”  Jim’s work
               led to the first effective assault against the Bonanno
               Crime Family in twenty years, which continues to
               stir interest in the mainstream media.

               Jim previously served as a law clerk for the Honor-
               able Anthony J. Scirica, U.S. Judge, Court of Ap-
               peals, Third Circuit. He is a magna cum laude grad-
               uate of Temple University School of Law, where he
               served as a law review editor. He graduated, cum
               laude, from Hamilton College, with a major in His-
               tory and a minor in Computer Science.
