LUCID MOTORS

A WORD OF THANKS FROM KARL DELLINGER

This crew worked their butts off, some teams put in well
over 70 hours a week, and we topped out at 41 guys
with 2 loaned from Albuquerque during the push.
This job was every bit as difficult to work on as an
Intel job, with miracles required daily from the
guys. In particular, Javier Morales (who ran the
8,700 foot long assembly line conveyor portion),
and Ricardo Rossini (Rick supervised the
     mechanical ventilation, spray booths and
oven systems) put in consistent long
hours, with constant pressure and, more
     often than not, unreasonable demands
throughout the entire duration. A huge
thank you to everyone that was out there
     and hung with the program!

The Tucson Industrial Division recently completed the fast-track Lucid Motors project. The facility is in Casa Grande,
Arizona, and spans approximately 590 acres. Lucid is launching with a production capacity of 30,000 vehicles, but
already has plans to scale that up to 400,000 vehicles through a series of expansions that go until 2028.

Lucid Motors Casa Grande factory was completed in December and is commissioning the equipment to begin
manufacturing tens of thousands of electric vehicles starting in Arizona this spring. The project which began in
December 2019 includes 1 million square feet and the factory was built with expansion in mind, and the company says
it will expand and produce a Lucid SUV in 2023, which it is referring to as Project Gravity.

Four expansion phases are planned at the factory through 2028, with the square footage growing from nearly 1 million
square feet today to more than 5 million square feet, and a final capacity of 400,000 cars a year.

Top-end models of the luxury vehicles are touted as getting 500 miles per charge with the capability to go zero to 60
     mph in 2.5 seconds.

The factory -- dubbed AMP-1 -- is the first factory in the US built from the ground up to make electric vehicles. Tesla's
Fremont facility was originally built as a joint venture between Toyota and GM, and Rivian's factory used to belong to
     Mitsubishi.
