1.5 Available Options

This section provides a full listing of all solution options, their benefits, costs, feasibility,
risks and issues.

1.5.1 Option one beetle shape

This section is for option 1. The team developed this option from a previous project taken
from King Abdul-Aziz University.

Description
This option is able to carry only one driver and consists of ½ inch round steel (25.4 mm)
pipes and 40x40 square steel pipes with thicknesses of 2.77 mm and 3 mm respectively.
The dimensions of the frame is 2.2 m length, 1.3 m width and 1.2 m height. It has four
wheels, 2 doors, 17 inch rims, two front headlights, two front indicators, two rear turn
indicators and two rear brake lights. It has four discs with brake callipers mounted at each
wheel.
