1.5.2 Option two Flat Frame

This section is for option 2. This option designed based on what shell eco marathon
participants would design. Simple and lightweight. [6]

Description

This option is able to carry only one driver and consists of a 50x30 I beam with thickness
of 3 mm and ½ inch (25.4 mm) round steel pipes with thickness of 2.7 mm. The dimensions
of the frame is 2.2 m length, 1.3 m width and 1.2 m height. It has four wheels, 2 doors, 16
inch rims, two front headlights, two front indicators, two rear turn indicators and two rear
brake lights. It has four discs with brake callipers mounted at each wheel.
