3.3.3 Key design
The designing of keyway and key is important in order to prevent slipping of the sprocket. The
selection of the keyway was based on table shows different parameter for different shaft
diameter.

3.3.4 Bearing selection
After designing sprockets and shaft, the bearing is needed for connecting the shaft to the car
and suspension system.
Radial force (Fr) = 800 N
Axial force (Fd) = 400 N
Life time ( 10ℎ) = 20000 hrs
Shaft diameter (d) = 32 mm
Revolution (n) = 3000 RPM
