graced the event and took part in
di erent events.

The race saw Mphatso Nadolo becoming
the first athlete to finish the race on
2:28:16. He was, however, disqualified by
the jury after it was reported that he did
not adhere to some of the rules of the
competition. Austin Sukali was declared
winner after he finished on 2:32.16,
seconded by Macdonald Maganizo, who
finished on 2:35.42 while Edson Kam-
mwamba finished third on 2:38.42
