STAFF NOTES
Since this page appeared in “Wirinun for 1968, some very familiar faces
have disappeared from the W.H.S. scene. First and foremost is that of
Mr. O’Mara, who is sadly missed by both staff and students after having
spent fifteen years here. He retired in June and is now enjoying a well-earned
rest overseas.
At the close of 1968, Miss Rohde and Messrs. Leach and Sargent were
transferred after years of service at Wynnum. Others to leave us then were
Miss Leech, who resigned to be married, and Mr. Sinclair, who accepted a
position in Nauru.
New faces have been quite numerous this year and include Mrs. Albin
and Misses Neal and Whitaker in the Home Science section. These were
