Other ladies are Misses Gardner, McWilliam, Marshall, Garrett and
Moretto and Mesdames Preece, Pridannikoff and Harvey. Miss Garrett left,
however, to be married in May, and Miss Moretto went overseas in June.
Messrs. Whybird, Moran, Cordwell, Niebling, Mahoney, Mann, Hall and
Toohey joined the staff in 1969. Mr. Niebling. a former school Captain.
became well known through his Rugby League exploits as Captain of a local
team and a member of the Queensland team who played against New South
Wales. Unfortunately, he has now left for overseas.
Three other male staff members have left during the year, all of whom
had spent several years here. They are Mr. Woodland, who is completing his
degree, Mr. Taylor, who has joined the Department of Civil Aviation, and
           Mr. Burrell, who has retired.
On the social side, a squash afternoon and a fishing trip have been most
enjoyable, and arrangements are well in hand to equip a relaxation room for
           use during lunch-time breaks.
