  Psychological strategies
Impact the Game we believe we have a very effective system for athletes and coaches to understand and learn to use psychological strategies or mental skills.
We divide skills into;
Preparation Skills - those that we learn to use to help us prepare better, and to develop the best mentality for participation and performance in sport. These include goal setting, useful self-talk, visualization, mindset skills, self- confidence and body language skills, breathing techniques
 Performance Skills - these are skills we take into competition
with us. These include controlling attention or concentration, refocusing, managing our emotions, resilience, managing anxiety and pressure
  and dealing with setback. Impact the Game provide separate
courses in all these skills where they can be learned, understood and practice in detail
 There are no shortcuts here. Mental skills take time to learn and apply in the same way that sports skills do
