7. If you are distracted by off-field problems, talk to a friend, fellow coach or a sport psychologist.
8. Develop your leadership skills so you can provide a challenging and encouraging environment for your athletes.
9. Practice assertiveness skills so you become more adept at asking for what you want and trying to have issues sorted to your satisfaction thus relieving the stress of letting problems linger.
10. Practice improving your self-awareness and managing emotions. Take time before responding to others to ask yourself “ what exactly is being asked or said”
11. Take time to understand your resilience and how you deal with adverse situation. See adversity as a teacher rather than a barrier or problem
