               3.  Use  language  features  in  describing  habits;  specific  habits,  simple  present  tense,
                   adjective, and action verbs.

                   The  next  type  of  description  text  is  habit.  The  purpose  is  to  tell  about  habits  by
               describing their features, which may include such as giving information by describing their
               physical  attributes,  behavior,  functions,  etc.  Now,  read  the  following  example  of  a  habit
               description in Japan.

               The following is a habit description of the Tea Ceremony in Japan. Read it and guess the

               meaning of the unfamiliar words from the context.

                       The  Japanese  tea  ceremony  is  preparing,  serving, and  drinking  tea  in  a
                   ritualistic and ceremonial way where it is used to promote wellbeing, mindfulness,
                   and harmony. The tea itself is a powdered green tea called matcha. The purpose of
                   the Japanese tea ceremony is to create bonding between the host and guest and also
