topics for you to choose from.

Find information about the topic of your choice. Fill out the Introduction, the Sequence of
Events, and Conclusion sections of the following table with the keywords of the information
that you have collected.

Now, write your sentences based on the keywords in the table. Remember, you have to use
your own words and show the language features typical to this genre.

The use of adjectives
The use of adverbs
The use of facts or figures
If all these features are present in your work, you may proceed to the following Unit.
Otherwise, choose another topic from the list in the previous section. Find information
about the topic, identify the keywords, and write your own sentences based on the
keywords. Make sure that your factual recount shows the introduction, the sequence of
events, the conclusion, and all the language features of a factual recount.
