A.  Introduction

                   1.  Short Description
                              In this teaching material, we will discuss recount text. Recount text is a text

                      that retells events or activities that occurred in the past that have been experienced
                      before. In writing recount text there are several parts that must be considered, namely

                      the structure of the text and also the rules of language. In recount text there are three
                      structures,  namely  orientation,  events,  and  re-orientation.  Recount  text  uses  simple

                      past tense and also adverbs.


                   2.  Relevance

                              This  teaching  material  contains  material  about  recount  text.  What  is  the

                       structure and how to write it. In addition, there are also linguistic rules used in writing
                       recount text. And also equipped with examples of recount text.


                   3.  Study Guide

                              The learning objectives of Teaching Materials are so that students At the end
                       of learning students can identify various information in short functional texts in the

                       form of recount. At the end of learning students can identify the communicative
