Definition

back to your friends? Well, this situation in English has its

own text genre name, namely Recount Text. What is the

actual definition of recount text?

Recount text is a text that retells events or activities that occurred in
the past that have been experienced before. Examples of recount
texts: incident reports, newspaper reports, police reports, articles,
letters, journals, historical accounts, diary entries
