煎圆是梅城人家家户户过年时的必备小吃。虽然名为“煎圆”,实际上采用的是煎炸的制作
手法。煎圆制作好后,通常放入瓮中,置于阴凉处,可以在春耕农忙时作为点心补充能量。
■ Dish Story
Fried glutinous rice balls are a must-have snack for every household in Meicheng during the Lunar
New Year. Despite the name “fried”, the cooking technique is actually deep-frying. After making the
rice balls, they are stored in jars in a cool place and can be enjoyed as snacks to replenish energy
during the busy spring farming season.
