            客家人对外婆充满敬爱之情,而在五华地区,人们亲切地称外婆为“姐婆”。外婆年迈牙口
            不好,吃不了硬食。在物质匮乏的年代,子孙探望外婆时,常带上咸菜和猪肉,用简单的食
            材制作这道绵软可口的家常美味,既方便外婆食用,又表达了深深的孝心。

            ■ Dish Story
            Hakka people have a deep affection and respect for their maternal grandmothers. In Wuhua region,
            maternal grandmothers are affectionally called “jiepo”. As grandmothers age, their teeth weaken,
            making it difficult to chewing hard foods. In times of material scarcity, family members would visit
            their grandmothers with pickled vegetable leaves and pork. Using these simpe ingredients, they
            make a soft and delicious home-style dish that was easy for grandmothers to eat while also ex-
            pressing heartfelt filial piety.
