马佛青严正看待抵触法律事件并将成立法律局提供法律咨询服务
在去年和今年分别发生了女信众被性侵的投报和被控性侵儿童获无罪释放的案
例。马来西亚佛教青年总会（马佛青）严正看待相关抵触法律的事件。有鉴于此，
马佛青将会成立马佛青法律局，开放投报管道为有需要的人士提供法律咨询的途
径和可用性。
马来西亚是一个奉行宪政的国家，在立法、行政和司法秉持着尊崇法治的精神。
因此，在日常生活中以宪法为国家最高的法律根源以及以法治为根基解决法律问
题，对于维护民主制度和社会和谐是极为关键的。马佛青法律局的投报机制开放
给大众，无论是出家、在家或不同性别的身份。该法律局目的是提供平台让大众
享有以法律为基础的基本自由与权利，通过司法途径以捍卫自己的权利。
马佛青将会在近期内发出正式通告阐述马佛青法律局的具体运作方式和服务范
围。投报人可通过report@ybam.org.my这官方投报电邮提供资料进行投报或咨询。

YBAM Takes Serious View of Law-Violating Incidents and Will
Establish Legal Bureau to Provide Legal Consultation Services
There were cases in which a female adherent reported a sexual assault and
acquittal being granted to an accusation of sexually assaulting children happening last
year and this year, respectively. Young Buddhist Association of Malaysia (YBAM) takes a
serious view of law-violating incidents. In view of these accidents, YBAM will establish
the YBAM Legal Bureau to open a reporting channel and provide access to and
availability of legal consultation to those in need.
Malaysia is a country that adheres to constitutional government and upholds the
spirit of respecting the rule of law in its legislation, administration, and judiciary.
Therefore, in daily life, taking the Constitution as the country's highest legal source and
solving legal problems based on the rule of law are extremely critical to maintaining the
democratic system and social harmony. The reporting mechanism of YBAM Legal Bureau
is open to the public, regardless of their identity as a monk or layperson, or gender
status. The purpose of the legal bureau is to provide a platform for the public to enjoy
basic freedoms and rights based on law and to defend their rights through judicial
channels.
YBAM will issue a formal announcement soon to elaborate on the specific
operation methods and service scope of the YBAM Legal Bureau. Individuals who file
the report may provide information for reporting or consultation through the official
reporting email report@ybam.org.my.
