e extend our sincerest congratulations on the 55th anniversary of YBAM’s founding.
W Since its establishment in 1970, YBAM has dedicated over half a century to the
development of the Buddhist community. You have been instrumental in the establishment of
Buddhist organizations within Malaysia, tirelessly working to propagate the Dharma among young
people and to build and develop the Buddhist community.
Furthermore, within the WFBY, YBAM has actively sent young individuals to international
Buddhist cultural exchange programs such as IBYE.
This commitment has allowed them to learn about the Buddhist cultures of other countries and
has greatly contributed to the development of these young individuals.
In 2019, through the WFBY, YBAM and JYBA jointly held a bilateral international exchange.
Young individuals who will lead the next generation of Malaysian Buddhism traveled far to
Japan and, over five days, visited four temples and participated in traditional Japanese Buddhist
                                events.
We believe that our deep exchange through the common faith of Buddhism will further
strengthen the global Buddhist community fostered by the WFBY, and that this will become a
driving force for the realization of world peace.
Moreover, on January 1st of last year, a major earthquake caused immense damage in Japan.
JYBA rushed to the affected areas to provide support, and witnessing the devastated towns and
                                people left us feeling helpless.
Just five days after the disaster, YBAM members took the time to pray for Japan. We deeply
appreciate your prayers, conveyed through online tools, which gave us strength to continue our
                                disaster relief efforts.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude.
In closing, we sincerely pray for the continued prosperity of YBAM and for the ever-increasing
health and success of all its members. This concludes our congratulatory message.
