n behalf of the Theravada Buddhist Youth of Indonesia (PATRIA), PATRIA with all 98
O branches and thousands youth Buddhist in Indonesia with love and happiness would like
to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the President, committee, and all members of YBAM on the
celebration of your 55th Anniversary.
We have witnessed YBAM’s significant contributions to the development of Buddhism, especially
in nurturing the youth. Youth play a vital role in ensuring the sustainability of the Buddhasāsana,
carrying the responsibility of passing down the Buddha’s wisdom to future generations. This is
beautifully reflected in the theme of your 55th Anniversary: “Passing the Wisdom of the Triple Gems
to the New Generation, Co-creating a Wise Future with Technology.”
We would also like to express our sincere appreciation for YBAM’s support for PATRIA’s event,
Yobbana Dhamma International in Central Java last year August 2024. Your participation brought
Malaysian youth to experience Indonesian culture and Buddhism, foster meaningful connections, and
grow together in the Dhamma.
YBAM and PATRIA have enjoyed a long-standing friendship and collaboration, including our
joint service at the World Fellowship of Buddhist Youth (WFBY). We hope this partnership continues to
strengthen through future joint programs and shared missions to give the benefit of Practice Dhamma.
We extend our warmest regards to the President of YBAM, Brother Yong Kuei Yoong, as well as
to all committee members and members. We wish you great success in the celebration of YBAM’s 55th
Anniversary.

May the YBAM family can always contribute for Dhamma like “gorgeous blossom
brilliant and sweet-scented”, May the people of the world live in peace and harmony, May
the Triple Gems bless us all.
