The Routes Network of Chang’an-Tianshan Corridor

The Silk Road is the longest cultural
heritage route in the world. It began during
the reign of Emperor Wu of the Han
Dynasty, it was an ancient trade route
dominated by silk trade and leading to the
Western Region. It was an important
channel for the exchange of political,
economic, ideological and cultural skills
between the East and the West.
There are 33 ruins in the Silk Road and 22
ruins in China. The ruins related to Buddhist
culture include: Big Wild Goose Pagoda,
Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Xingjiao Temple,
