Realising
the Second Noble Truth of
Cause of Suffering
ayam dukkha-samudayo,
“this is the origin of pain”
With UNDERSTANDING the very first truth of Suffering,
we realise the reality of existence and of our actions when
we put to test and practise of the Noble Eightfold Path,
that we are the CAUSE within this mind and fathom body*
– thus the second truth of suffering.
Simply said, when there is no cause where is the reaction?
Our actions, be it mental, physical or verbal:
duly acted upon has reciprocal reactions and are expected to
come back, sooner or later. That is Karma.
One such condition is when we kick a ball towards a wall,
the ball will bounce back to where it came from;
or when we walk straight into a wall who will get hurt?,
and when we jump into a pond who gets drown?
Here, not to mention acting on another fellow human,
the cause and the resultant effects or reactions
are all too obvious if you are in the KNOW!
Do we realise that?
