Page 23 - Suffering
P. 23

As if these pain and suffering are not enough,
we have to live to see another day!

What people do not see in the causes of suffering?
Because suffering is uncomfortable, we may suppress or
minimize it in our own lives. And because it is unpleasant –
and sometimes guilt-provoking – to see it in others,
we sometimes turn away from it.

                                  Do we REALISE it?

So to say, when the causes stop, the suffering stops!

We are the cause of our own suffering and pain –
all because we indulge in clinging or attaching to
the 3 poisonous conditions we want others to look our way,
thinking that the world belongs to us.

Our daily action embodies diverse aspects of unpleasant
human experiences. Let us take a peep into some of the
                       conditions that cause our suffering.

                          Cannot accept impermanence*?
We want everything to remain the same and cannot accept

changes that everything is temporary. Life moves in circles
or cycles generating new life and eventually death.
Nothing will stop that universal TRUTH!
Accepting everything that exists as impermanent,
we release our attachment and clinging to things,
                            people and even to ourself.
This realisation allows us to learn and evolve.
