8: RIGHT CONCENTRATION*
Developing the ability to bring the dispersed
and distracted mind and heart to a center, a focus,
and to see clearly through that focused mind and
heart – calm abiding and remain evenly and rightly on
a single object, undistributed and not scattered.
According to Bhikkhu Bodhi, the right concentration factor
is a state of awareness without any object or subject, and
ultimately unto no-thingness and emptiness.

The understanding of the Noble Eightfold Path
will not hold realisation if it is not constantly
reflected and contemplated upon, in our daily life.
It would be better if one reflects on it moment to moment.
This is not far-fetched in that one can contemplate one’s
actions whether it has elements of causing suffering, pain
and stress to others by way of mental, physical and verbal
actions in a small way, initially.
And, in the long run, to lessen our karmic consequences.
The Noble Eightfold Path
is the direct means to nibbana
and brings a release from the cycle of life and death
in the realms of samsara.
