                 1-  Analgesic effect: It is likely to be responsible for the medicinal properties of lemon
                     grass tea.
              2- Antiinflammatory properties

              Oil of lemon, thyme and cinnamon.

              Separation:

              Fractional distillation followed by addition of KMnO4 on cold, to destroy other
              constituents.
