Wellness program & incentives


               LiveWell at TXM
                                                Our LiveWell program is here to help you reach your wellness goals. The
                                                program supports the four pillars of wellness: nutritional health, physical
                                                health, emotional health, and financial health. You can choose your own
                                                wellness objectives with multiple wellness campaigns during the year.
                                                You can also reduce your monthly medical premium by completing
                                                certain wellness activities. The premium incentive program is forward-
                                                looking, which means the wellness activities you complete in the current
                                                year determine the medical premium you’ll pay in the following year.
                                                Covered spouses may also earn these incentives to further reduce the
                                                medical premium you pay.
                                                Activities to earn the incentives must be completed by the communicated
                                                due dates.
               Premium incentive activities for current enrollees

                                                To qualify for the 2024 premium incentive, you and your covered spouse
                                                must complete these three objectives through Texas Mutual’s wellness
                                                vendor, Virgin Pulse:

                                                   ›    Complete a biometric lab screening October 2, 2023
                                                   ›    Complete a member health assessment by October 2, 2023
                                                   ›    Earn a minimum of 15,000 wellness points October 2, 2023

                                                There are many ways to earn wellness points in your Virgin Pulse profile.
                                                Use this resource to support your wellness goals and challenge yourself
                                                to make this the best year for your wellness.
               Premium incentive activities for new hires & new plan additions

                                                If you were hired in 2023, or you newly joined the medical plan or add a
                                                spouse to your 2023 enrollment, you will automatically receive the 2023
                                                wellness incentive.
                                                Activities you need to complete in 2023 to earn the 2024 wellness
                                                incentive are based on your hire/enrollment date.

                                                   ›    If hired/enrolled between January 1 and June 30, 2023, you must
                                                      complete a member health assessment to earn the 2024 wellness
                                                      incentive.
                                                   ›    If hired/enrolled on July 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023,
                                                      participants will automatically receive the 2024 wellness
                                                      incentives.

               Tobacco-free incentive
                                                If you are tobacco-free, you will receive a wellness incentive of $155 per
                                                month towards your medical premium. Tobacco-free means you do not
                                                smoke, vape, use e-cigarettes, dip, or chew tobacco products.

                                                If you do use tobacco, you may earn the incentive by participating in
                                                TXM’s tobacco cessation program or by remaining tobacco free for 90
                                                days. You can find program information on the HR intranet site.
