Leave Benefits
Leave Benefits*
Vacation Leave
Employees begin accruing vacation time immediately upon hire. New
hires accrue three weeks within their first year of employment! The
annual accrual and the maximum carryover is based on years of
service as shown below.

20 or more yrs 5 weeks 10 weeks
Holiday Pay
Texas Mutual provides nine paid holidays each year which include
two days for Thanksgiving and two days for Christmas.
Personal Days
Employees accrue eight hours of personal leave on January 1 and
July 1 annually, to be used by the calendar year end.
Bereavement Leave
Employees may take five days of paid bereavement leave to grieve
the loss of an immediate family member.
