Reference: The Stress Continuum Model
Taking a moment to monitor and define your stress, anxiety and emotional level is an
important step to ensuring your mental, physical and emotional well-being. On a
good day, we operate in the Green. As our stress and anxiety levels increase, we
begin to operate in the Yellow, Orange and Red arenas. Each day, our goal is to
determine how we operate in the Green.
Use the graphic above to recognize your stress and anxiety levels, then use the tools
in this guide to keep you in the Green. These tools and strategies can help you
maintain a healthy lifestyle. Ask yourself “What can I do to keep myself in the
Green?”.
We strongly encourage you to seek medical treatment if you feel you are in the
Orange or Red. You will find information on our Employee Assistance Program on
Page XX, a free service which can assist you with counseling and mental health
services.
