Signs and Symptoms of TB Disease
Symptoms of TB disease depend on where the TB bacteria are growing
in the body. It most commonly grow in the lungs (pulmonary TB).

Diagnosis of TB
A complete diagnostic evaluation for TB disease includes the
following five components:
1. Medical history
2. Physical examination
3. Test for M. Tuberculosis infection
Tuberculin skin test or
TB blood test (Interferon Gamma Release Essay)
4. Chest radiograph
5. Bacteriologic examination of clinical specimens.
