The strike began on April 11, 2023 with
representatives of the Screen Actors
Guild-American Federation of Television
and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) and the
American Federation of Musicians (AFM)
The Actors Strike of 2023 calling for an increase in wages and
has caused significant better working conditions for members
disruption in the film and in the film and television industry. The
television industry, with the Actors Equity Association (AEA) soon
major film and TV unions joined in, and the strike included actors
