Your collaboration with Franklin County
Distillery for your own line of flavored
moonshines, Ridge Runner Pear and Orchard
Peach, is quite unique. What inspired this
partnership, and how do you see it
complementing the release of your album?
{Jayne Denham} For an Australian, this is very fun
to partner with because Moonshine has not really
been a big thing here but is growing in popularity,
so we are bringing it to Oz at the perfect time, plus
it will help us get the word out about the album and
where we got the inspiration from. I am sure people
will think my album sounds even better after a sip of
my moonshine. It's been funny, though; some
people have asked me, ‘Is it legal? only knowing

drew you to explore this particular theme?
{Jayne Denham} After creating my last album,
WANTED, that was an idea I had to mix modern-day
country with the Old Western movie soundtracks. So
for this album, we wanted to create Chapter 2 and
move it forward in time, from horses back in the wild
west to fast cars illegally moving Moonshine and
digging deep for inspiration from the music of that era.
Moonshine is a bit more modern, but you will hear
instruments and sounds in the band tracks that are
from that era. Both albums needed to be wild and
outlaw themed, so it was so fun to find and create
songs that fit the theme.
