ULTRA SUNN Beyond the initials, you mentioned the
album explores your personal bond and
connection with your fans. Can you
elaborate on specific lyrics or tracks
that showcase this theme of "us" being
stronger than ever?
Although the entire album is infused with this
energy, the most representative track of this
state of mind is probably "You & Me." It's the
first love song we wrote, speaking about our
travels and the places that hold significance for
us, and what we love to find there when we seek
refuge. The chorus sounds more like something
we say to each other. It's a track that speaks
about us and our relationship (Gaelle and Sam),
probably the most personal track on the album.
The lyrics on "US" delve deeper into
personal themes. How does this
introspective approach impact the overall
sound and atmosphere of the album?
The lyrics of our album are indeed more
introspective. Musically, we allowed ourselves a
lot of experimentation and new influences to
compose this album. We have, as always, drawn
from our roots in Belgian electronic music, but
it's important for us to infuse it with our
contemporary touch so that the sound reflects

family, how does this influence the live
experience you're building around « US »?
Alexis joined us on tour a few months ago, and
we're thrilled to have him on board for this
journey. His presence has allowed Gaelle to
further develop her keyboard skills, and
musically, he enables us to perform all the
tracks in their most complex aspects. Alexis is
very professional and a very positive person; his
presence brings a lot of light, and it's evident
that the audience has already embraced him.
"US" follows the success of singles like
"Some Ghost Could Follow" and "Shake
Your Demons." How does the overall album
build upon these previous tracks?
The very first track we released from this album was
"Broken Monsters," which already hinted at
our sonic desires before we had even finished
composing the rest of the album. This track
served as a marker for us, a sonic palette we wanted
to explore. The other singles were well received by
the audience, and we're happy that everybody Poze Magazine
