APRIL HOISINGTON-KITE
I started my interest in acting and modeling
as far back as I can remember. I would sit at
home and memorize full length movies and
act them out. I always wanted to act and be
involved in the industry. Not to be super rich
or famous but to entertain people. I have
always thought and felt that was my calling.
My first play was performed at Riverside
Community College in the mid 80’s. Hillbilly
blues and I was Ma Milligan.
I also performed at La Sierra High School in
Riverside California. I was Mrs. Sherwood in
Fame. I loved everything about these early
plays. Well, as the old story goes, life got in
the way. I moved out of California to
Massachusetts and by the time I returned, I
was pregnant with my first child. Working
raising a baby and in traumatic situations
with men and family I didn’t do much. About So I decided it was my time to pursue my
4-5 years ago I started working on acting dreams again. I was Mrs. Mac ready, in Narnia
again. By this time I was a mother of two the musical, performed at the Bay City Arts
children one was already an adult. Center in Bay City Oregon. I also went to a
photo shoot in Florida, with a company called
VIP Ignite. It was a great experience how do
you but, once again fighting through a
domestic violence situation and having to sell
my home and become a homeless
motorhome owner. Which is where I’ve been
for a year now. It’s been difficult to pursue
my passions and find work to pay for some
where to park.
I’m extremely hopeful to launch my career in
acting and modeling, and I will continue to
persevere. There is so much more detail to
my life but that would take up two magazines
and you only asked for a couple paragraphs!
