Q&A WITH
STEFANIE MICHAELA
7) With your EP Turning Pages on the way, what can listeners expect from this new chapter
in your career, and what message do you hope to share through your music?
Stefanie: A mature, emotional pop-R&B vibe—a new take on the next adventure
in my life as a woman with lots of experience in every aspect of life. There have
been many ups and downs, and they’ve all led to this new chapter. I want to turn
the page and hope to resonate with others who have pushed aside their passions
over the years. Don’t let your love for your passion fade. If you can incorporate just
a little bit of it each day, it’ll change your entire mindset. I hope to reignite the fire
in others and make them think about what would truly fulfill their lives by still
pursuing their passion, even later on in life. Just because you start a family doesn’t
mean you shouldn’t bring something that means a lot to you to the table to
enhance others. By doing something for yourself, while still being present for your
family, you can actually make your family life more fulfilling. I didn’t realize that by
making time and reconnecting with others in the music industry, I’d slowly begin to
transform into the person I was meant to be. I find myself walking around smiling
and feeling more content because I’ve incorporated my music into my daily life,
and I’m able to bring that to the table as I turn the next page. I want others to feel
happier and fulfilled, not caught up in unnecessary nonsense. Why subject yourself
to things that take up too much space in your mind? Take that energy and put it
toward something you love—your passion, what you were meant to do in this life.
