Lucky’s ears perked up again, his body tense. "Like that," he growled. Aiden stared up
at the swirling grey clouds. Something was definitely wrong. And whatever it was, he
had a feeling this was only the beginning. Aiden stared at the darkening sky, his heart
pounding. The park, which had been so bright and cheerful just moments ago, now
felt eerie. The trees rustled in the chilly wind, and the playground swings creaked as
they moved back and forth on their own. “What’s going on, Lucky?” Aiden asked,
trying to keep his voice steady. Lucky growled, his fur bristling. “It’s not good, Aiden.
Those clouds? They’re not normal. It feels like Dr. Gloom is already starting his plan.”
“Dr. Gloom?” Aiden raised an eyebrow. “Who’s that?”
