Swedish pop star Benjamin Ingrosso brought his Pink Velvet Theater Tour to
North America, and on February 16th, I had the pleasure of covering his show at
The Fillmore in Silver Spring, Maryland. With his Swedish roots, it was no surprise
that a large number of Swedes came out to support him, their excitement filling
the venue before he even stepped on stage.
This show had no opener, just Benjamin and his electric stage presence from the
start. And let me tell you, he knows how to throw a party! Kicking things off with
hits like Look Who’s Laughing Now and my personal favorite, Angela, he
instantly had the crowd hooked.
