Accounting
We sent 1,057 customer invoices and processed over 1,100 contractor invoices for payment. Accounting brought on Jennifer Watson as a part-time accounting temp. The company has worked really hard implementing solid practices to ensure timely payment from customers..
Between sales really doing their part to secure the proper information and accounting conducting proper due diligence to grant credit, our A/R delinquencies have really decreased, and we are over 92% current in our receivables. Lisa has also implemented different strategies such as working out payment plans with struggling customers during COVID.
Logistics and Procurement
Peiker shipped 808 total units in 161 shipments for March.
In a more personal note; The impact of the Texas snow and ice storm left Cinda from Peiker without power, which found her traveling in the storm to seek shelter at Ric’s home (also with Peiker) for her and her children, since the hotels were turning people away due to water pipes busting.
We also started shipping product to Martin Brower for the new roll out of permanent cradles. Logistics reflashed 267 PT6 Cab Phones. Logistics successfully assembled and shipped the Zebra cradle and power cable to Martin Brower for their new permanent cradle and noise suppression solution.
Operations and Projects
Jesse Preston has been promoted to Operations Manager. This is a big step for Jesse and the company as a whole.
Robyn was quoted as saying “Throughout Jesse’s four year tenure with HFG, he has continually demonstrated his commitment to professional growth. He is a strategic, metric- based thinker, always focused on efficiency and profitability. I am very excited to work with Jesse in this new capacity and look forward to the efficiencies he will bring the organization. Please join me in congratulating Jesse on this well-deserved promotion!”
Sara Pemberton and Staci Eggers were both promoted to a Senior position within their departments! They deserve a well-earned pat on the back and a huge Congratulations!!
A big special shout-out to Tricia Dillard! Tricia has managed to not only do excellent work a whole continent away, but she has excelled and shown immense growth as well. I think there is a silver lining to learning how to work as a team during a pandemic and Tricia especially is a tribute to how it can work well along with how we can keep a valued member of our team even in trying times and unusual circumstances.
60% of our office staff has returned to working in-office daily. We have all staff separated by 6 feet with regards to desk seating and we have weekly COVID disinfecting electrostatic spray services to aid in reducing our risk.
Projects has landed a project for 113 vehicle installs, all were scheduled in the first couple weeks.
Carla Zerr began her position in Provider Services. We are still seeing an increase in calls coming in and this calls for even MORE hands in the call queue.
In general Operations news, we created 1,261 Service Appointments to service clients and 4,897 calls were taken out of the 5,428 that rolled in for installation requests in March.
