Northern Ireland’s only 4-Star Motel

I felt it was my duty to accept and report back to the NO PLACE like OUR PLACE (Northern Ireland) Members. It would have been rude not to . I was curious to learn for myself the difference between a hotel and motel.
With travel seriously limited due to the Covid-19 this was my first and likely to be my only Staycation this year (albeit a working one). I was determined to pack as much as possible into my short stay in Enniskillen. So, after loading up the car with a weather proof gear, walking boots and a picnic, we set off on what seemed like a ‘short’ 70 mile drive from Lisburn. We were impressed by how easy it was to find The Belmore Court and Motel. No satnav or map required and no arguing over taking a wrong turn. We simply joined the M2 at Lisburn which ends near Moygashel and becomes the A4, then through Augher, Clogher and Fivemiletown and straight on to Enniskillen. The motel is perfectly located on the Tempo Road (B80) just off the Dublin Road (A4) at the edge of Enniskillen town centre.

which usually has a parking area for vehicles. The Belmore Court and Motel fits this description perfectly, but with the added bonus of the luxurious feeling of a 4-star hotel. So, when I received an invitation from Terry McCartney, the owner of the Belmore Court and Motel, to experience an overnight stay with my partner in his unique motel and explore a little of what Enniskillen has to offer, I jumped at the opportunity.
